Being a distributor and service provider in the ComEd Distressed Communities Program makes Energy Xperts Energy Efficiency Experts pleased. The Smart Energy Design Assistance Center, or SEDAC, is in charge of running the initiative, which offers free goods and services with the goal of assisting underserved areas in lowering their energy and operational expenses. In addition to providing free lighting kits, the program optimizes and tunes up the HVAC systems in these communities’ public buildings.
Public buildings, libraries, post offices, police departments, fire protection districts, municipal buildings, park districts, public works facilities, and buildings owned by the local, state, and federal governments are examples of buildings.
Energy Xperts may offer lighting kits through this program for easy self-installation, or for a separate estimate, we can provide both the lighting and the labor to install it utilizing our in-house crew.
One of the program’s requirements is that the lighting kits be installed within 30 days of the point of delivery. For some businesses, this might be an acceptable amount of time, but for others, it will be challenging and they will require help to finish the installations. In order to ensure that the project is finished in time for the Comed inspection, Energy Xperts can help with installations during such hours.

The benefits of replacing obsolete lighting with energy-efficient LEDs include lower operational expenses, better aesthetics, less maintenance, and more safety and security, in addition to lower energy bills.
The Type B lamp, which has an internal driver built into the tube and doesn’t require an External Driver or LED Ballast, is the most widely used type of lamp in this program.
In addition, tune-up and optimization services for HVAC systems are offered.
